The Gold 17 Snowshoes by Crescent Moon. So large, we had to take an aerial photograph of the shoes just to show them. But sometimes, you need some really big shoes for hiking across untracked deep snow where even the huskies don't go. Even though they'll float you and your gear in the deepest conditions, the Denali 37 snowshoes are very lightweight. And, the larger version of the SPL binding will accommodate some very big feet, up to size 16. So, go big, into that good forest.

Each set of aluminum snowshoes come with a pair of heel lifts.

What is a Heel Lift?

It's an optional feature for your snowshoes, which adds 2 inches of platform under your heel and makes climbing more efficient, comfortable (by reducing the strain on your calf muscles), and improves traction.

If you're located in the mountains, and you're snowshoeing up long, sustained climbs, a heel lift might be exactly what the doctor ordered. If you're spending most of your time on flatter or rolling terrain, you probably don't need the heel lift.

Best snow shoes ever

This were a replacement for an older pair of CM snowshoes I had. They are the best shoes I have seen. I was surprised because things get "new and Improved" which usually means something was taken away or made cheaper. In this case they are Greatly improved and durability looks far better than mt old pair. Great work Crescent Moon team .

Size 15 boots. I am a hunter and a tall man. These shoes easily accommodate my insulated hunting boots with the gators on. They seem well constructed and hold together. I have been looking for shoes that fit the big boot and have been at it for 2 years. I was also able to get by thicker snow boots into them with good support and fit. I have not been in the snow with them yet, but anticipate doing that in the next month. I wanted to post early as other Big Foots might like to know that there is room for a boot longer than mine. Good luck all you Winter fans.

I have used them only once so far but they supported my 240+ lbs in 2ft deep powder as advertised.
